Leonardo has been a PostDoc at the Complexity Science Hub since March 2024 and is a close collaborator in the ASCII project.

Leonardo’s research interests lie in the application of network models to the study of macroeconomic phenomena, particularly in modeling how the structure and dynamics of the inter-firm network affect the dynamics of economic aggregates.

Leonardo holds an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London with a focus on statistical signal processing. He also completed an MSc in Control Engineering from Università di Roma “La Sapienza” with a thesis on the controllability of complex networks applied to interbank lending markets. During his PhD in Data Science at the Scuola Normale Superiore, he worked on developing network reconstruction models for production networks.
